And o yet again Apple did not adhere to an accepted standard....
Many transceivers would work no matter what voltage was present,
especially the later types with external (wall-wart) power supplies. I
doubt most of the vampire-tap type 10Base-5 transceivers would work at 5V,
but many of the 10Base-T types would work just fine. Somewhere around here
I still have an AAUI to AUI cable.
