I also use the short form of that, usually works:

- I don't think it's standard
- Only works for jump within the same document (page)
It's been working fine for me - I just see it as being a short jump and as
sort of a "local variable" assumed to be within the same file, just as a
URL without domain is assumed to be a file on the same server.
I guess that I'd better start studying the standards to make sure that
what I do is kosher.
