Win95 does require at least a 386SX. (with 4M RAM)
Win98 has similar requirements for RUNNING it, but the installation/setup
requires the presence of a math co-processor. Therefore, 386SX PLUS
387SX, or 386 + 387 , . . . or 486DX (rather than SX). Q:can you install
it with a math coprocessor, and then REMOVE the math coprocessor before
running it?
Since a 386SX is limited to a maximum of 16M of RAM, it might not be
possible to run some of the newer versions of Windoze.
