In my experience, not many. In most cases the

I find showing my wife selected closed Ebay auctions works well.. She
then does the sums (math) and shuts up!!
On the other hand i do have to smuggle things into the house, esp things
in beige boxes..
Her main gripe is my classic car sitting in the garage, which is where
it should be in my opinion!! :-)
