Thanks for the replies to my Apple? question. I think Bill Whitson called
it, as the case matches his discription of the Franklin Ace 1000. The
interesting thing is that I got another one yesterday, along with a Laser

I am somewhat official now as I joined the team that is trying to
establish a science museum here (Windsor Ontario) so I have a logical
reason for collecting computers and other odds and ends.
Following someones advice, (Sams?) I put a little ad in our weekly paper
on Sunday and have so far obtained fifteen, a lot of junk, but a Pet that I
needed and the Apples. I also have leads on an Osborne and a PC Jr. and
faint leads on a DEC Rainbow and some kind of Sun.
Another phone call turned out to be from the fellow, now retired, who used
to do the maintenance on the Basic 4 that is lurking in my garage.
