I'd use it. I was considering doing the same myself, but if you're offering, go

How do Git and Mercurial deal with resource forks? Also, are there clients for same on
"classic" Mac OS? I could go as late as the last version of OS 9, but I'd
prefer something that ran on 7.5.3 if possible.
I suppose I could do my own research on that last question, too.
