I've got several NS databooks but that's not an NS standard number. I'd say
is't someone's stock number.

Subject: Re: anyone with an old national memory databook ?
I am looking for info on a National Semi 4916944-2 memory IC in
a 16-pin 0.3" DIP package. I am assuming that it is some variant
of the 4164, but am not sure.
What's it out of? That doesn't look like a NatSemi number to me. Could it
be a 'house coded' number -- assigned by the company that made the
machine it's put in? HP did that a lot (but their RAMs tend to have
1818-xxxx numbers) as did IBM and Xerox.
