To be pedantic, no. TO be practical, yes.
There is an asynchronosu serial port on 2 pins of the GPIO connecotr.
It's not RS232, it's 3.3V logic levels. But you can easily buffer it
(MAX3232 IC) to RS232 levels. The Rpi can use that as a serial console
too. By default it runs at 15200 baud (something which is very PC
speciifc, nd a ridiculous choice fothe default), but you cna set it to
just about any seped in one of the oconfiguration files.
