There are some intersting discussions about Whirlwind in the book THE
INVENTION THAT CHANGED THE WORLD: HOW A SMALL GROUP OF RADAR PIONEERS WON
THE SECOND WORLD WAR AND LAUNCHED A TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION. I HIGHLY
recommend the book. There is a lot of interesting stuff in it besides the
Whirlwind story.

The book is pretty light on techical information on the computer, however.
I'm hoping there is some meater info on Whirlwind buried in the CHM stacks.
