Anyway, yes, the terminal can be made to do XON/XOFF flow control, but
it will be better for you to figure out the wiring and configuration
to use the RTS/CTS and maybe DSR lines for hardware flow control and
tell the terminal to do that. Then you'll be able to use Emacs without
kludging around having used C-s and C-q for flow control. (That
religious
battle is on-topic here, isn't it?)
I mostly use vi anyway :^) but on this terminal I will probably be
using teco
a lot.
