Pretty much everything from anywhere says that; with the possible exception of military
grade electronics.
Yes. A current project I'm working on for the Navy gets
conformally coated to resist moisture, and there are MIL
STDs and tests for dealing with salt fog, which is the
kind of phrase that should strike terror into the heart
of any EE.
