and, when you look at the performance of 2.6
kernels it's pretty damn
good and (my opinion) scales better than pretty much everything other
than solaris.
IRIX scales up to at least 1024 CPUs and multiple GB RAM per CPU in a
single OS image.
Gues from where Linux got the scalability? SGI, as they are on the way
to replace IRIX with Linux...
