Ok, I need some advice on what type of scope might be

I have already decided that I need more than is necessary. I want to

Any good choices?
If it doesn't say 'Tektronix' on it, my opinion is that it's not worth
bothering with. For the sake of both performance and 'classic' appeal, I would see
about getting hold of one of the all-time favorites of former DEC field service engineers:
The Tektronix 465, 475, or 475A, with the DM44 multimeter option if you can find it.
I see all of the above come up on E-pay frequently enough, and I also see them at ham
swaps.
Good hunting.
