U6A seems likely to me to be referring to a linear chip, rather than a
digital one, though the 6 between the mu (U) and the A is not something
I am familiar with. I also don't get any hits in the catalog looking
for 770.
As a guess, it is might be a ua709 Operational amplifier.
730 might be uA730 - a differential amplifier.
Both were pretty common.

Thanks!? These chips were in a lot that had other digital chips that I
was able to identify, so I thought that they were also digital. The 709
might well be right, as it is a DIP14 package.? The other one, though,
is a DIP16 package, and from what I've seen the ua730 only came in 8-pin
cans, so it remains a mistery.
