Thank you Richard... the sequence of launching, and
the correct response
to Zonalarm, was required. All seems to be well using HyperTerm, which I
nonetheless hate/loathe.
I will try to gently massage (or viciously bludgeon) CRT into playing
nicely with your emulator, failing that I'll DL TerraTerm.
I highly recommend PuTTY as a Win32 terminal client. It rules. The
URL is incomprehensible, but if you Google "PuTTY", the second hit is
the download page.
