In particular:
I might normally think that because computers today are so much
more powerful than 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago, that it would take much
less hardware to implement the same functions. Thus I might
expect that the raw quantities of computer scrap have been
declining over the same time.
I have been proven wrong almost every time. Sucky, but true.
