If I can get those to smoke the glass dramatically
enough when they blow,
it would be easy to replace the blown parts with fresh fuses for a new
program. Not to mention that it may be fun to be able to re-arrange the
fuses ;)
How about using circuit breakers?
Then you would have a manually erasable PROM, without further expenditure
each time that you program it.
