boxes (DECMates, 'Bows, Pros, etc.). Except for the one I knocked off
the table (ow!) I've never had one die (now I have a spare analog board)
The Horiz Linearity coil and 2 resistors are prone to bad solder joints and
there are 2 resistors that pop when the solder joint fails on the linearity
coil. I've fixed many a supposed "dead" vr201 by resoldering the coil and
replacing the resistors.... unfortunately the last 201's that I had had
burnt up the curcuitboard under the resistors from them overheating :(
