be careful when doing this. I've written a few different
telnet
servers and it's very easy to end up in a loop.
If you always refuse everything (DO elicits WONT, WILL elicits DONT,
ignore DONT and WONT) then I can't see how it can loop, unless some
client brokenly insists on retrying to turn something on when you
reject it.
...hmm, on second thought, this is supposed to interoperate with
Windows telnet, so peer code that braindead is a real hazard....
