Yup, and it's easy to scribble on paper. Not so much on a Kindle.
So much of a datasheet is filler that you don't need at the bench--
mostly, the pinout will do.
Sometimes, I'll cut and paste to make a couple of sheets of paper
with the pinout of every IC used in the design for quick reference.
