Well, they were hosed down (and scrubbed down) outside first.
The dishwasher was used again after a few rinses with very very hot water
and detergents.
Hey, it's healthy to challenge the immune system now and again! (-:

I hope you didn't use that dishwasher for washing the pots and pans after
you used it to clean mouse-muck off PCBs...
