Watch out the PS/2 30 may be ESDI not IDE.
Unlikely. It's an 8086. AFAIK, it's an early XT IDE. One cable - 44 pins.
No power cable.
The IBM drive just unscrews from the platic housing
and it's just a 2 1/2
inch IDE drive with the power on the additional pins.
I can count. It's not the standard 2.5" laptop connector. Besides, it was
a metal housing that was almost impossible to get open. It appears as if
you have a different generation of drive.
The standard $5.00 2 1/2 IDE to regular IDE should
work, I think...
I have one and the number of pins does not match.
