male connector on one end and a female on the other. The cards are marked
FLIP-CHIP.
Me :-)! It looks like a flexible extender card, to me. It would bring a
single height card out of the back-plane so you can probe/debug it. Useful
for older gear built out of Mxxx flip-chips.
