I mostly agree.  The one large exception is if you fiddle with PDP-8s.  The
'vtedit' macro for TECO expects a VT52, and does *not* work with VT220s in
VT52 mode.
Nearly everything else I've played with expect either an ASR-33 (i.e., no
cursor positioning), or a VT100.
