Sure. There's composite mono and colour video on a couple of pins of the
8 pin DIN video connector, and there's an RF modulator built-in I think
(there is in the UK version I have). Both of thsoe are 40 column only,
but it should let you see if the machine is doing anything.
I didn't get anything out of what I think is the RF modulator.... it's
the lone RCA connector right? I though I would be able to plug that
directly into my TV.

No, it seems I have the correct cable already..... found it in the box.
Arg!!! I turn the dumb thing on and I'm greeted with a M$ copyright!!!
Observation.... Apparently one needs to plug the floppy's powers supply
into the surge protector before it can be used!! :-) I'll be trying
that next :-)
