Odd.. I've had very few problems with my 9866A. I just hope the
printheads never fail -- the other components are standard parts,
although some (the shift registers on the printhead driver PCB, and the
dynamin MOS shift registers used as a line buffer) would be hard to find now.
Now we just have to find out the best way to ship it all from Canada.
Well I just want the next size smaller HP.
You mena a 9831? (that's the physically smaller replacement for the 9830
I believe). Good luck, I am told they're one of the rarer HP desktop
machines.
