Picked up a VAX 4000-300 just the other day, and as
usual at surplus
places, the disks were all stripped out. As well as the cassettes,
naturally, the lazy sods. Does anyone have a DSSI disk and VAX 4000
cassette they'd be willing to share?
FWIW, the part number for the whole assembly is 70-28087-02.
And I could use some of these too, if someone has a stash. Two
4000-series machines in a row came without the frame and paddle
board. (The second machine, which originally had drives in every
bay of the CPU and a 400-series expansion, still has its bezels,
but not the frames and paddles.)
