The original poster was mistaken. RT-11 is not freeware, and currently
the "freely available" RT-11 distributions are indeed only (legally)
usable with the Supnik emulator.
Mentec is apparently working on some type of "Hobbyist Licensing", but it
isn't ready yet - a link for this appears on the Mentec home page, but
currently, it does not go anywhere.
