And the reason I continue to use Linux (Debian to be specific, I have
issues with RHEL and SuSE, and would easily agree that they're "a mess"
and poorly laid out), is that "I have the source", and I understand how
it's laid out.
Yes, I've found kernel bugs and even fixed one myself (though Dave
Miller reworked / rewrote my patch).  I've done the same with user-land
stuff as well.
