Watch out with registers of rare items - lots of
collectors really do
not like this. Every so often they attract annoying people that ask to
purchase items from the register, and some of these guys can be
persistent. One of my machines landed on a register some time ago, and
from time to time I get bugged about it. I do not think I ever asked
to be on the register.
You make a good point. I only meant to satisfy my own curiosity. There
are registers for the PDP-7 and PDP-12 which are helpful for those
seeking help with their own system and for people like me who like to
know where I can see one in person (in museums).
Perhaps I should keep such a register to myself, or at least ask the
owners of permission before going public.
