Given that C++ is the object-oriented descendant of C, one might expect object-oriented
COBOL to be named "ADD 1 TO COBOL". In my opinion, the object-oriented successor
to COBOL is called Java - it's similarly verbose, and like COBOL, originally intended
for average, fungible programmers.
