Heh. here, 220VAC @ 20A is normal house wiring. Many houses here
are fed with 48A (new) or 60A (old), on three circuits. High power
circuits (dryers, arcos etc) are done on 380VAC (3-phase) here.
My apartment now has the usual 3 220V (60A) circuits, two 380VAC
circuits, and a new 500VAC power line attached to the power stuff
downstairs :)
