This software is of genuine interest. Look like
cross-development tools for
the TMS 32010 DSP. I actually own hardware with that DSP on board - the
Truevision Nuvista, one of the first 24/32 bit Colour QuickDraw frame
buffers for Macintosh. I was never able to locate the Mac cross-dev toolkit.
I wonder if there was an actual evaluation board for that DSP - perhaps
that's what these tools target? Would be great to find the whole kit - eval
board, documentation, and more complementary software. Can't believe it all
disappeared without a trace :)
I have now had several requests for the tapes, one from the UK for
museum collection & display but not data retrieval, and some from the
US and possibly Norway for getting the data off. Obviously the ideal
would be someone in the UK who could get the data off /then/ send them
to the museum!
There are enough requests for TK-50 carts now that I will have to work
out an allocation strategy for dividing them up, but that is fine.
