They were introduced in the 1981 HP catalog. It looks like they use a 14"
disk. They have a whopping 12.9 Mb capacity (formatted), 32 sectors/track,
256 bytes/sector, 733 tracks per surface (plus 3 spare tracks), 2 surfaces,
and an average random access time of 70 mS and rotate at 3000 RPM. They
were available in rack mount or a desk top versions. Their cost was $7,950
and $8,350 respectively. Oh yes and they are HP-IB.
