I have used gphoto under
<rms>GNU/Linux</rms> Gnome. I liked it until
I actually got a mac
and use iPhoto.
Dunno about iPhoto, but my Nikon D70 had minimal support for anything,
anywhere, and Nikon wanted $99 for their software to do raw editing
which would crush any computer with less than 1.5Gig of RAM. Having sold
my 2 each 1Gig sticks this spring as I wasn't doing much photo stuff
then, that didn't seem like much of an option...
