I'd love to know what fault could essentially put
stair-steps in the
vertical deflection waveform. That waveform is generated in an
analogue manner, by chaeging a cap connected to the TDA1170 chip,
BTW...
Wouldn't coupling some AC of appropriate frequency into it do the
trick? Assuming the AC is phase-locked to the vertical scan, of
course, otherwise the bands wouldn't stay still....
