Hi,
I saw a 14MHz 8088 clone when I was in college in
1990....
You know, ever since I mentioned that V30 motherboard I've had something
nagging at the back of my mind saying it ran at "14MHz"...? I wish I could
remember for sure.
....It was perfectly stable, which makes sense if you
consider it
ran at a clock division of 1....
Probably 16MHz boards then; ISTR it had something to do with bad board
layout, rather than silicon being unable to keep up though.
