into the switches and pots. Then I pull *all* the plugs and spray

months. BTW I probably don't need to tell you this but make sure the
fluid has evaporated before powering anything up.
You might want to try a cleaner specially designed for pots. It generally
contains a mild abrasive substance that will help keep the pots oxide and
noise free.
Tuner cleaner seems kinda expensive to use for plugs and jacks. I've
always used plain old isopropyl alcohol for those.
