That seriously blows. Glad you got everything back
up.
Yes. The T1 is not cheap, but I have to say, I love the latency, the uplink
and the fact that the cable runs are all mine (I wired the whole 60' from
the new house's server room up to the demarc and it's reassuring to know it's
done right and I control it).
But it's nice having a proper server room (I got out the hole saw and ran
ducts for the spot cooler, then some conduits for Ethernet and the two T1
pair runs) instead of camping the equipment out in the apartment dining room.

I may take you up on that. However, DSL Extreme has been really great (they
certainly had better be for the money). AT&T, being the ILEC, dragged their
feet on the NIU install but they did finally get it in.
