Has anyone attempted to do so or has disassembled the disk enclosure?
I would like to know if the heads are parked on or off the disks.
Ive never taken one apart (I don't even own one), but I do have the
service manual. I can see if there's anything in there. I know it doesn't
cover repairs inside the HDA (not surpisingly, it states that the HDA
mustn't be opened outside a clean room), but it does have a
theory-of-operation section which has soem diagrams of the HDA.
