When I try to boot from the CD, it is ejected
after a few seconds and
nothing more happens. Every time i put the cd back in it is ejected again.
I had similar problems with Ultrix/MIPS. I made a raw copy of the CD
to a disk (you can try the MO too) with dd(1) on an other machine.
It instaled from that disk just fine.
