I have a load of all of those... 2901Cs the
faster ones. The 2901 tends
to force
the flavor of the hardware and instructions toward microcoded machine.
But if you want 9 or 18 bits, 2901 is not the answer.
A 74181 can be tricked in to being used as 3 bit alu.
