would say it's differnt,
not necessarily harder. Yes, there are a lot of compoents, but they are
all documented. Unliek the VT100 where you don't know the ROM contents
DG used in-house part numbers, very much like IBM and HP did. But I
haven't come across an equivalence list, so if you don't have the
schematics, you're lost. There is the DG Components Guide, but you must
be clever in figuring out the corresponding SN or whatever standard part
number.
