Obviously, two full video cameras are overkill if you
had very fast
scanner-type linear pixel arrays.
FWIW, linear CCDs are considerably easier to drive than 2-dimanesional
ones. THis might be a factor if, like me, you'd ant to do the whole thing
yourself :-)
What is the longest paper tape, in feet and bytes?
The standard reels of paper tape were, I think, 1000 feet long, That's
120,000 characters (== bytes), since the standard is 10 character/inch. A
little over 117K (for 'real' K :-))
