ISTR the ADM5 was their first microprocessor-based product. The ADM-3a did have MSI
serial components - as I recall, it was two separate chips for transmitter and receiver,
but still single components for each rather than SSI (shift registers and clocks and such,
like on an Omnibus M8650). But the bulk of it was SSI. -- isk
