Rumor has it that der Mouse may have mentioned these words:

I've also tried moving around - and yes, I know the
game fairly well; I
beat the version we had on VMS back in my larval-stage days - and all
the results I've had are entirely consistent with the theory that it's
resetting the game state before processing each command. Maybe it just
doesn't like me, or maybe I'm doing something wrong....
Maybe you need cookies enabled? The game would need to save state to know
where you are.
