Interesting. The last time I imported computer equipment from the US
to the UK I remember there was no duty to pay, computer equipment
apparently being duty free. I'm pretty sure it was a reciprocal
agreement with the US, is that not still the case? It *was* quite
a few years ago when I last imported anything.
Not really relevant, but I do know radio communications equipment is
duty free *into* the EU (however you *do* have to quote the correct
customs codes).
