I'd heard that toner was (could be?)
carcinogenic.
We had a "lab manager" at the college for years who refused to
refill toner cartridges, "because if you ever get any on you or your
clothes, it is impossible to wash off!" Nothing, including
demonstrations would convince her otherwise.
