Nice. That's what I started to
implement using an AVR. But I had not the time to
finish it yet.
Just very similar to the stuff you did.
How 'repeatable is it? If you format a pack as 16
sectors, remove it,
wait a bit, put it back in, does it all work? I assume so, but it can't
hurt to check.
I assume that there's no problem with respect to "repeatability" but I
assume
that the timing will not be as 10000% correct that you could easily interchange
disks with another implementation of the same method.
Subtle implementation specific delays could be different.
But as long as you use the same software on the same CPU I'm quite confident
that David's software will just work :-)
