Subject: Re: Spec of Motorola 7339 Transistor
I am suprised about that. I thought the fuses in a Model 33 were all
common
types that you coudl get almost anywhere. What is
this
difficult-to-get
one?
I just realised that perhaps Maplin do have some of what I want, it is
that they aren't listed as 32mm, but as 1.1/4. But they don't have the
375mA one
I always remember them as 1+1/4"... To me the standard fuse lengths are
5/8", 20mm, 1", 1.25"
(although my machine actually had a 315ma one,
but Maplin don't have
that
either), the nearest is 250mA.
I suspect a 250mA fuse wouldn't last. If necessary I would sensibly
over-rate the fuse, up to say 500mA, at least for somenthing I was goign
to be keeping an eye on (like a model 33 I was testing/repairing. But
fittign the right one is always a good idea if you can get it.

I am going to be patient and wait. When I rush I almost always cause myself
more problems.
Thanks
